Why the mimosa is a symbol of Women's Day? It seems that the mimosa flower was adopted as a symbol of Women's Day by Italian feminists. It was 1946 when the UDI (Union of Italian women) was preparing the first "March 8" of the war. He wanted a flower that could distinguish and symbolize the day.
